When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
5 years ago, my mum told be about the program.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
This will be my first SO Summer Canada Games. I took part as a downhill skier in the 2024 SO Winter Canada Games in Calgary.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I had 5 events and I got 5 medals. I felt like if I could train more I could do better.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It’s fun to be a part of a summer sport team.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To swim faster and hopefully get medals.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Winning in skiing at the SO World Winter Games in Italy.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I just like to swim.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
It’s an encouraging and inclusive place to be.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I enjoy competing.
