Find success, joy, fitness, and friendships as part of our community! With Special Olympics BC, athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the chance to compete and be part of a team. You'll also have lots of fun!
Special Olympics BC athletes are children, youth, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from ages 2 and up. There is no maximum age for participation!
Athletes participate in year-round sport, youth, and health programs all around B.C. They can also enjoy competitions at local, regional, provincial, national, and international levels.
Special Olympics athletes of all ages and a wide range of ability levels are warmly welcome. You don't need to have previous sport experience to get involved!
With programs in 55 local communities across B.C., empowering athletes from more than 164 communities, there is a place for you in Special Olympics.
