When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved about 25 years ago. I started with bowling.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
Yes, these will be my first Special Olympics Canada Games.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I got 3 Gold medals and 2 Silver medals. I was very happy.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It means making new friends and doing as well as I can.
What is your goal for these National Games?
Get better at my times and distances.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Being in the Summer Games last year.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like going as fast as I can.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
Special Olympics is a great way to meet people and try something new.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I love watching hockey, especially the Prince George Cougars. I collect model air planes and I love to fly.
