When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics? 

I got involved three years ago playing soccer.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports? 

Yes, these will be my first National Games. I am very excited.

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance? 

We won the Gold medal in Division B for basketball. I was proud of my performance. 

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you? 

I like the teamwork and I am proud to be with all of these great athletes.

What is your goal for these National Games?

We want to win a Gold medal and move on to the World Games in Chile. 

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date? 

I really liked going to Provincials in Prince George. It was different from anything I had done before, and I enjoyed being with my team.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games? 

I like my teammates, and I like playing defence.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved? 

I would tell them that there are a lot of different sports, and they will likely find one that they like.
