When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I've been involved for 3 years, starting with rhythmic gymnastics. Now I do many different sports.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
Yes.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
4 gold, 1 silver – I felt I did great for my first time.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
Getting to perform for others.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To have fun and hopefully get a medal.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Performing at the Provincial Games in Prince George.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I love to dance so rhythmic gymnastics goes well with this.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
It's a great place to meet new people, learn new skills and stay active.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I'm 14, turning 15 and my favorite things are dancing, singing and karaoke.
