When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved in 2005. I started bowling with Special Olympics. My friend let me know about bowling. He was hoping to find bowlers for the Cranbrook tournament.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
No, I have gone 3 other times for Canada Games:
London ON - Swimming
Antigonish NS - Swimming
Thunder Bay ON - Downhill skiing
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I earned 2 Gold medals and 3 Silver medals. I felt very good. I enjoyed the games.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
I am proud to have been picked to attend these games.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To attain personal bests in all my strokes.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
My favourite experience was going to the 2020 Special Olympics National Winer Games in Thunder Bay because I was able to go to the place where Terry Fox finished his run.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like to compete against others.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
The friendship and comradery is great.

I like music and swimming.
