When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved in 1991 for bocce.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
In 2007, I went to Shanghai for the World Games and we won Gold.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
Excellent.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
Excellent, and I'm proud of myself.
What is your goal for these National Games?
My goal is to play one game at a time and try to win. I hope to get a Gold medal there.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
In 2007, my experience up at the World Games was excellent and I enjoyed it very much.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
This will be my first time going to the National Games playing bocce, but I've got experience at Nationals for floor hockey, soccer, and baseball,
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
It's excellent and it's fun, so people should get involved.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I'm a happy athlete. I work hard and and it's fun. I'm there to take it one game at a time and and try to win.
