When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

I heard about Special Olympics through word of mouth when attending bowling.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

No. I competed in bowling at the 2020 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games in Thunder Bay, ON. I have also competed in bocce at the Special Olympics BC Winter Games in Vernon, BC and Prince George, BC.

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?

Our team got first place. I feel I performed very well and was a team player.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?

I am excited to attend Special Olympics 2026 Canada Games with my team in Medicine Hat, Alberta.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To do my best, be a team player, and meet new people.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Going to Prince George because it was a summer event. I had lots of fun.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I like throwing the ball and meeting new people.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?

I have gotten to travel to different places that I haven't been, and I have met other athletes.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I like to do crafts, and I like to be outside in nature. I love my dogs.
