When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
It’s been 16 years I first got involved with Special Olympics. NOYFSS told us about it and we signed up that year.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
Yes, these will be my first National Games.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It means having fun, connecting with new people, playing soccer, and doing my best.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To just have fun and making long lasting friendships.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Going to training camp and scoring my first goal.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like the competitive side of it and scoring goals.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
Special Olympics has made me grow and not to be shy. Special Olympics is the best thing I have ever been part of. All of the coaches and people are so wonderful here.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I always have a smile on my face, and I love soccer so much.
