When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

We looked up online and joined SO Track and Field in 2022. We also joined swimming and soccer after that.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

This is my first National Games

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?

I got my 10km and 5km 2nd place (1st place was a Yukon athlete, so I guess I was the 1st place in BC). 3rd in Long Jump and 7th in 400m. I was not very happy because I got sick after the long bus travel and needed to attend the Hospital Emergency after the event on the first day. Glad that I had been treated and was able to compete the next day.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?

It an honour and a test for me to be able to enter the next year world game.

What is your goal for these National Games?

I would say hit under 40 minutes in 10 km run and having a good time doing the relay with team BC.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Watch my local teammate training and competing their best.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I like to pace at half way then try to have a good finishing.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?

For me this is a good place to train, chat and creating your journey of growth and confidince.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I like watching anime, and prefer of running at the road more then track
