When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics? 

I joined Special Olympics in 2016 and a friend's mom was mentioning to my sister at the time that I would like to join and I joined right after that.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports? 

This will be my first Special Olympics Canada Games.

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance? 

I got 5 medals and I think my performance at the summer Games was good. I could practice some more but I did it very well.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you? 

Being a part of SO Team BC means going to represent the team, try your best and having time to train with your coaches. I was sad at first but then I found out about being on the Team BC. I was so excited and in tears because I have never been on Team BC before.

What is your goal for these National Games? 

My goal is going to go to National's and trying my best and cheering on my fellow teammates as well I hoping to win a medal but in all I just want to try my best.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date? 

My favourite thing about Special Olympics is going to get to go Prince George and win some medals.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games? 

The thing I like most about my sport is that you get to have amazing coaches to help you out.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved? 

I would say it doesn't matter what age your are. If you like to socialize and get to know people joining Special Olympics, it is a great way to try new sports and get to meet amazing people.
