When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I joined Special Olympics in 2005.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
I participate in every Special Olympics Canada Winters Games in Speed Skating from 2016.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
Our basketball team did well and I did my very best a summer games.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
To be good role models, being polite and friendly with other people.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To be absolute best and to meet new people.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Going to national games to represent Team BC.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
Playing against people with arrange with different skill sets.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
Inclusive gathering of people empowered by sports.
