When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

My mom helped me look for Special Olympics.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

This will be my first one going to Nationals.

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?

I feel great about myself. I felt proud to be part of my basketball team.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?

It means a lot to me because this is my first time going, and I can’t wait to become a Team BC athlete and represent BC.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To try my best and help my team during the National Games.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Being with my friends and doing well in my sport.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I like being part of a team and helping my teammates.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?

I would ask them to try it out and come watch us play sports with Special Olympics.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I like playing video games, playing sports, hanging out with my friends, and listening to music. I am a funny guy, I care about people, and I am very kind.
