When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved when I was 12 years old. My first sport was rhythmic gymnastics.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
This is my third time being picked for Nationals for rhythmic gymnastics. That is the same sport as what I competed in at the other two National games that I have been to.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
The results were great and I felt confident.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It means being part of a team.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To do my best.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
I have loved making memories with people.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like the experience.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
That you meet a lot of new people.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I like listening to music, reading, and hanging out with friends and my dog, Luna. I also like working out and watching movies.
