When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved in Special Olympics when I was 12 years old.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
My first Nationals was in 2018 for swimming in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I felt like that my performance felt good at the Special Olympics BC Summer Games. All my swims felt nice and smooth.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
To me, being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 means that you get to meet new friends and new athletes.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To swim good, beat my personal best, meet new athletes from other provinces, and cheer on other athletes.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
My favourite experience was my first Nationals in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. It was a really good experience and it was a lot of fun.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I'm looking forward to meeting other swimmers from other provinces.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
We include everybody.

I'm a team player, I cheer everybody on, and I don’t get down.
