When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

7-8 years ago, I went to a bocce practice to watch and was asked to try it. I caught on really quick and have been playing ever since.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

Yes, this will be my first Canada Games.

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?

I got first in my division and I feel very happy with my performance and my team.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?

Excited and nervous as it is my first time.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To do my best, try to place first, and have fun.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Going to the Summer Games and winning my first gold medal. I also loved getting 200 in 5 pin bowling.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

The challenge of getting the points and keeping the points.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?

It's fun and you get to meet people.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I like making crafts, rainbow loom, and painting rocks and canvases.
