When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved 5 or more years ago.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
Yes. I have only been to provincials. I competed in bowling at the Prince George Special Olympics BC Summer Games in 2025.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
2 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
I love to play bowling and I enjoy it very much.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To get more medals.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Competing with other people and I love to win.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
It gives me accomplishments and I like competing with other rivals.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
I enjoy meeting other people and the support I get from our team.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I am 42 years old. I love eating out. I love salmon and Japanese food. I hate bullies. I like my space when I need it. I have travelled to the Philippines 8 times. I went to Cancun, Mexico, to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and San Diego with my roommate and my caregiver. I love to go for a walk to get rid of my stress.
