When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I have been involved in sports since I was five. I have played ringette, baseball/softball, soccer, swimming. When I turned 10, I joined Special Olympics, as it suited me better. I enjoyed playing the sports with my friends and found the atmosphere in Special Olympics to be really fun.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
No. I was involved in the 2014 National Games at UBC in British Columbia. My sport was softball. My Langley team won a Silver medal.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
1 Gold, 3 Silver, and 1 Bronze medal. I felt my performance was one of my best ever. I hope to improve on my times at these games in Medicine Hat.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It makes me feel happy and proud to have been chosen for the team. I am excited for the opportunity. I like the team spirit.

Improve or maintain my times, win some medals, make friends, and have fun!
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
