When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

I started in April 2024. A Special Olympics coach, Heather, who plays ball with my dad, suggested that I participate.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

Yes, these will be my first Special Olympics Canada Games.

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?

I earned a gold medal in men's golf, Level 4. I thought I played good, and I enjoyed playing with my competitors.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?

I am excited to play and compete. I feel we have good teams in all sports.

What is your goal for these National Games?

To shoot my personal best and to medal.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Playing all the summer and winter sports and making new friends.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I enjoy playing golf. I like everything about the game.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?

It's a great place to have fun.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I will be 14 in May and going into Grade 9. I was the youngest athlete at Provincials in Prince George. I also play softball, floorball, and basketball. My favourite food is sushi, and I enjoy music.
