When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I joined the second year after Special Olympics started. I joined because my friend was already part of it.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
No. I have gone to Nationals for track, downhill skiing, rhythmic gymnastics, and five pin bowling.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I won 3 Gold medals. I felt good.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It means I get to know the other athletes and coaches from other regions.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To do the best that I can do.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
My favourite Special Olympics experiences have been the two World Games that I competed at. I went to Alaska for downhill skiing, and I went to North Carolina for rhythmic gymnastics.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like having fun.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
You will meet new people.
