When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I believe it was the year 2000 when Coach Judy helped get me involved.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
No, this will be my second National Games. I competed in Newfoundland for floor hockey and Nova Scotia for softball.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I won 3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal. I felt very happy with my performance.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
I feel very proud and happy that I was picked to join Team BC 2026.
What is your goal for these National Games?
My goal is to do my best and join Team Canada.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Meeting new friends and being able to play sports with them.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like to beat my personal scores and bowl high scores.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
The sports are fun and you will meet new friends. The coaches are all nice and supportive.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I like to be social and go out and experience new things and places.
