What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
Family, fun, and a challenge.
What is/are your goal(s) for National Games?
Helping my athlete to peak at the right time as he tries to qualify for World Games, and soaking it all in with my teammates.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
The camaraderie of the Vancouver Island golf team during the Provincial Games in Prince George.
What does competing at National Games mean to your athletes? (Or, if this is your first National Games, competition in general)
It is one more step in his journey towards claiming his space in this world.
What developments are you excited to see in your Team BC sport team leading up to National Games?
The training camps. We didn't have those in Québec.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
Just do it. It's an absolute joy bubble.
