When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I started playing in the 80s. I worked with someone who told me about this, and then I joined.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
This is my first Summer Games for soccer.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
My team got the gold medal in soccer. I played good.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It means working hard at practice.
What is your goal for these National Games?
I want to win a gold medal.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Travelling around, competing against the best and having fun.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like that it's lots of running and having fun.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
You get to have fun and make new friends.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I can be quiet at times but I like to keep busy. I like walking. I love all sports.
