When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved through my wife, Cheyenne.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
I have competed at the National Games before for bowling.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I earned 2 Gold medals and I felt proud of myself.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It means that I have another opportunity to improve in my sports. And to meet new people.
What is your goal for these National Games?
Getting another Gold medal.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
I have loved competing against other athletes. And travelling.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I enjoy racing in track and field and giving myself goals to beat new records.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
That it’s fun to compete, be active, and to travel.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
That I’m kind and helpful around other people. I’m a father of a 9 year old son. I love to bowl as well.
