When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved in 1994. I started with 5 pin bowling and have been doing it ever since.

This will be my 4th National Games. I first went to the Summer Games in 2014 in Vancouver for 5 pin bowling, then in 2016 in Corner Brook for cross country skiing, 2024 in Calgary for snowshoeing, now 2026 in Medicine Hat for track and field.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
Gold in the 400m, Bronze in the 100m, and Bronze in the 200m.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It allows me to work as part of a large team.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To have fun.

Representing Canada at the 2025 World Games in Torino, in snowshoeing.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
It is lots of fun.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
Just do it.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
