When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
Word of mouth from friends.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
I’ve been to four national games For softball golf floor hockey and soccer.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
We finished second, I was proud of my performance and I did the best I did.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
I am proud and honoured to be with Special Olympics.
What is your goal for these National Games?
Have fun, meet new people, and do my best.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Representing team, Canada world games, Hall of Fame, part of Kelowna grizzlies.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
Being part of a team.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
Gonna have fun and be on a team.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I’m a guardian to my son who has a disability and I take care of him and help him with daily tasks every day that he needs help with and I have two other kids and I have a girlfriend.
