When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics? 

My parents first enrolled me in Special Olympics when I was a teenager in Langley, BC. 

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports? 

I competed in the SO Winter Games in Charlottetown PEI, in 2004. I competed in curling. 

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance? 

I won a Gold and a Silver medal in 10 Pin bowling! I felt great about my performance. 

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you? 

It means making new friends. 

What is your goal for these National Games? 

To win a Gold, Silver or Bronze medal. 

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date? 

When I won the Gold medal in curling at the Provincial Summer Games in Kamloops, BC. I had a reunion with all my Langley friends: Dennis, George, Brent, and Chris in 2003. 

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games? 

I getting strikes and spares in 10 pin bowling!

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved? 

Join so you can become a member of the team. 

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I was born in Richmond, BC, and I moved out to Nanaimo. I became a curler and a bowler. I like to go to my day-program, go on the computer to play video games, and watch wrestling. I like to watch movies and listen to music.
