When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

I started with FUNdamentals in 2010 and have participated in soccer, weight training, club fit, and rhythmic gymnastics.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

Yes, it will. I am a little nervous and excited.

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?

My results were 2 gold and 3 bronze at the summer games. I liked performing and am looking to improve.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?

I am grateful for the opportunity to compete at this level.

What is your goal for these National Games?

Compete, make friends, have fun, and perform at the best I can.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

Traveling with the team to Prince George. It was a long drive but I got to hang out with friends.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I like to dance, I like music, I like to move.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?

Because of the good friends, kind people, and the fun and exercise.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I like being helpful, I have a cat named Pearle. I like food. I participate in other Special Olympics sports like weight training, swimming, and club fit. I really like the ballet classes we have been doing as part of training for games.
