When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved in 2005. My parents found out about Special Olympics within the community.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
This will be my second Special Olympics Canada Games. My first National Games was held in London, Ontario in 2010. I competed as a swimmer.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
My Bocce teams results were GOLD. It was shocking! I was proud of my results.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
Being part of Team BC 2026 means I will work hard and try my best.
What is your goal for these National Games?
My goal for these National Games is to do my very best.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
My favourite Special Olympics experience is having my family and friends watch me compete and being proud of me.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
When I play bocce, I like having my mom as head coach. I like making shots that sneak in close to the pallina.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
I would tell someone who wants to get involved with Special Olympics that you need to "believe in yourself." Have faith in making your family proud of you.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I would like people to know that I love to work and I love to do acting classes. I am trying to be involved in music (DJ'ing). I enjoy attending my Baptist Church each week. I am a hard worker and enjoy having fun with my friends.
