When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved in 2024
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
Yes, these will be my first National Games.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I earned a Silver medal in the 200m and a Gold medal in javelin. I feel like I did good and tried my best.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It makes me happy. I am proud of myself and my family is so proud.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To work hard for more medals and hopefully go to the World Games. And to meet new friends.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Going to Provincials.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like competing in all the track events with my team.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
It is so much fun and you meet lots of friends.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I love my cat Max, and I love to make my friends laugh.
