When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?

I got involved at least 25 years ago.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?

I have been to the Special Olympics Canada Games for speed skating in 2016 and 2024, and for softball in 2018.

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?

My softball team finished with Gold. I felt great and I had a great experience.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?

Hopefully, it means I have a chance to play for Gold at the National games.

What is your goal for these National Games?

Have fun, play hard, and hopefully win a medal.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?

My favourite experience was winning Gold at the 2024 Provincials.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?

I like pitching.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?

It is very fun and it is an environment that encourages you to do your best.

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I have a good sense of humour. I am friendly. I like to help out where I can.
