When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
I got involved through my parents. They are athletes too. I started playing with SOBC when I was 7 years old.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
No, I have been to 5 National Games. I have been to 3 Summer Games for track and field and 2 Winter Games for curling. This will be my 6th National Games, and I'll be competing in track and field.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
3 Gold and 1 Bronze medal. I did pretty good, but I could do better!
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
It means working and training hard at practice.
What is your goal for these National Games?
Make it to worlds again!
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Getting to travel and compete against the greatest, and winning medals of course!
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I get to see to see all my friends from different places.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
You get to meet lots of people and have fun.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I am funny and outgoing. I love to talk and mingle with everyone. I have awesome fashion style.
