When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics? 

I got involved in approximately 1995.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports? 

Yes, this will be my first Canada Games!

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance? 

I received 4 silver medals and 1 gold medal. I was very proud and excited.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you? 

I have always been a sports fan of all kinds, and being with Special Olympics is very important to me!

What is your goal for these National Games?

I will do my very best, and I would love to win another Gold medal! 

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date? 

My favourite experience was winning the gold in Prince George.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games? 

I like the music and the friends.

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved? 

I would tell them that it is fun and you get to know a lot of people!

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?

I was born in Victoria and have lived here all my life. I feel proud to represent Victoria and all of BC in Special Olympics.
