When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics?
20 years ago. My friend Shane introduced me.
Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports?
No, I have competed in past Special Olympics Canada Games for softball.
What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance?
I felt good because I felt confident.
What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you?
I'm very proud to be part of Special Olympics Team BC.
What is your goal for these National Games?
To win a Gold medal.
What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date?
Having fun and meeting some friends.
What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games?
I like bowling because it's fun. It's a mix of skill and relaxation. It's satisfying to aim carefully, roll the ball, and watch the pins fall.
What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved?
I'd say the Special Olympics is an amazing way to build confidence, make friends, and be a part of a supportive community.
Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you?
I'm 6'3 gentle giant with a good sense of humor, and I'm easy to be with.
