When and how did you get involved with Special Olympics? 

I started playing soccer with Special Olympics in 2023 and added floor hockey in the winter of that year. I got started because I wanted to find friends and play sports.

Will this be your first Special Olympics Canada Games? If not, what other National Games did you compete in, and in what sports? 

Yes this will be my first time competing in national games.

What were your results in the 2025 Special Olympics BC Summer Games? How did you feel about your performance? 

Our team won a gold medal for soccer in our division in the summer games in Prince George. I was very proud of all the hard work we put in as a team to win our medal.

What does being part of Special Olympics Team BC 2026 mean to you? 

I am very proud and happy to be able to represent BC at the Special Olympics national games. I’m very excited to go and do our best in Medicine Hat.

What is your goal for these National Games? 

I want to do my best and work hard and support my team and teammates to do the same.

What is your favourite Special Olympics experience to date? 

I loved playing at the BC summer games in Prince George and traveling with my team and coaches.

What do you like most about the sport you will compete in at National Games? 

I like playing with my teammates  and having fun on the field

What would you say about Special Olympics to encourage someone to get involved? 

I would tell people to just come and give a sport a try because it’s a lot of fun and you will make new friends 

Please tell us a little bit more about yourself! What else would you like people to know about you? 

I am an avid sports fan and love watching football, soccer and other sports. I also love playing video games with my cousins and friends.
