The NCCP Special Olympics Canada Introduction to Competition Workshop helps to equip coaches to empower athletes with intellectual disabilities. Topics in this workshop cover associated disabilities and how they impact your coaching, risk management and safety of athletes and coaches, and how to create effective practice plans that consider your athletes' needs.
On Saturday, November 22, the course will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On Sunday, November 23, the course will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Note that both days must be attended in full to receive certification.
