SOC NCCP Introduction to Competition Workshop in Coquitlam

The NCCP Special Olympics Canada Introduction to Competition Workshop helps to equip coaches to empower athletes with intellectual disabilities. Topics in this workshop cover associated disabilities and how they impact your coaching, risk management and safety of athletes and coaches, and how to create effective practice plans that consider your athletes' needs.

Both days of the course must be attended in full to receive certification:
Saturday, October 17, 2026, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday, October 18, 2026, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

The cost of the course is $65 and will be covered by the Local. Please ensure to inform your Local that you have registered for the course.
