Active Start and FUNdamentals Try-It Day

Special Olympics BC offers year-round youth programming tailored to the needs of children and young people with intellectual disabilities, where they build vital skills and life-changing friendships and feelings of belonging.

Children aged 2 to 11 with an intellectual or developmental disability and their families are invited to join us in Richmond for a fun morning of activity at Active Start and FUNdamentals programs!

By providing early access to vital motor, sport, and social skill development, Special Olympics BC Youth Programs equip children and young people with intellectual disabilities to succeed in sports throughout their lives, and build important motor and social skills that benefit every aspect of their lives.

From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., families can come meet the coaches and volunteers, try some activities, and connect with other families in their community.

This event is open-house style, so no registration is required. For more information, please contact inclusion@specialolympics.bc.ca
