Special Olympics BC – Invermere is always welcoming athletes and volunteers to get involved in our joyful community!

Registration

Currently we are actively recruiting for our Local Committee Administrative roles. We are recruiting for a Local Coordinator. The Local Coordinator represents Local’s point of view at all meetings, communicates with all committee members including the Provincial Office. After filling out the athlete or coach/volunteer registration form on our registration page using the link above, please submit your registration form to Holly at invermere.registration@specialolympics.bc.ca

All new and returning Special Olympics BC athletes and volunteers must register annually in order to participate in SOBC programs.

Note that our community might not currently offer all of the sports listed on the registration form. After you submit your form, Special Olympics will contact you to confirm your registration and provide more information. We look forward to your involvement!

About SOBC - Invermere

Special Olympics BC – Invermere serves the beautiful Columbia Valley in the East Kootenays. We have been putting smiles on SOBC athletes since 2010.

At present we offer alpine skiing,  club fit, bowling, figure skating and golf. We are looking at implementing Bocce, and cross country upon recruitment of coaches/volunteers.

Our Local Committee, volunteers, and athletes are motivated to add to our current variety of sports and activities in years to come.
