Special Olympics BC – Golden is always welcoming athletes and volunteers to get involved in our joyful community!

Registration

All new and returning Special Olympics BC athletes and volunteers must register annually in order to participate in SOBC programs.

Note that our community might not currently offer all of the sports listed on the registration form. After you submit your form, Special Olympics will contact you to confirm your registration and provide more information. We look forward to your involvement!

About SOBC – Golden

Special Olympics BC – Golden has experienced tremendous growth in recent years! In a typical season, we are looking to offer Cross training, cross country skiing,  Alpine and swimming. Youth programs - Active Start and FUNdamentals have also started and run weekly.

At this time we are actively recruiting for admin roles within our local committee - we are looking for a  PR Coordinator and a Volunteer Coordinator as well as a Local Coordinator and Program Coordinator. We are also currently seeking coaches for bowling and swimming for the 2025/26 season!

We are always open to registrations from new athletes!
