NFL Fantasy Football Charity Dinner and Draft

The NFL Fantasy Football Charity Dinner and Draft engages NFL fans in a season-long initiative, raising money for Special Olympics and having fun celebrating another NFL season.

2014’s inaugural B.C. event was held at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre on September 5, 2014, the night after the Seahawks celebrated the NFL kickoff.

The companies that each purchased “foursomes” randomly drew to represent an NFL team at the Draft and received NFL merchandise representing their team.

Legendary 49ers quarterback Joe Montana was on hand to pose for photos and sign autographs, along with some great Seahawks alumni. Scotty Rintoul of TEAM Radio was the Commissioner for this exciting evening.

The event also included a silent auction with plenty of great collector items.

Each team was given information on NFL players to help with drafting, and NFL Fantasy Experts were on hand to give advice. Participants will receive weekly-standing updates and be able to track their results and make trades throughout the season online.

The Fantasy Draft is a joint initiative between NFL Canada and the Wizard Foundation. These organizations have worked together since 2003 to raise $675,000 for Special Olympics. The Seattle Seahawks organization provided exceptional support for this Vancouver event.
