And while they will enjoy all of the competition and social aspects of the games, they love to see “FANS IN THE STANDS”. To that end Special Olympics BC is happy to introduce our Team BC Fan Club!!! We will be using the Delta London Armouries Hotel as our Fan Club Headquarters and will be block booking rooms for Team BC fans. If you would like to book a room at the Delta London Armouries just click on the link below and you will go right to Team BC’s room allocation. http://www.deltalondonarmouries.com/gjspbc or call 1-800-668-9999 and tell them you are with Team BC. We will also have a Team BC Fan Club hospitality suite at the hotel on Tuesday, July 13th from noon to 4:00 p.m. where all registered Team BC Fan Club members can come, pick up your credentials, meet other parents and have a snack. We will be hosting a Team BC Fan Club breakfast on Wednesday, July 14th from 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. (before divisioning competition starts) at the hotel. All of this is open to anyone, whether you stay at the hotel or not!! The 2010 National Games website (www.london2010.ca) under Families, Friends and Fans are a number of hotels and accommodations that Fans can choose from. We are told that the Delta London Armouries is the closest to the Games sites but you can choose the option best for you!! For those of you trying to book travel now, we know that athletes will leave some time on Sunday, July 11th and will return some time on Sunday, July 18th.
