WELCOME TO SPECIAL OLYMPICS BC
Since 1980, Special Olympics BC (SOBC), a registered
charitable organization, has provided sports programs and
competitions to meet the needs and interests of individuals with a
intellectual disabilities, enriching lives, and celebrating
personal achievement through positive sport experiences. Today,
over 3,500 athletes participate in Special Olympics
BC sports programs in 55 communities across
British Columbia. As a non-profit organization, Special Olympics
BC relies on the generous support of individuals,
corporate sponsors, foundations, service organizations, and
fundraising events to fulfill our mission.
